James Miller, the acting defense undersecretary for policy, and Gen. John Allen, the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan, are briefing the House Armed Services Committee Tuesday on recent developments in Afghanistan, which is being carried by C-SPAN live in a webcast.
Miller told the congressional members that the “horrific killings” this month of 16 Afghan civilians, allegedly by a U.S. Army staff sergeant, will be fully investigated and “justice will be done,” according to the NPR blog, The Two-Way.
