For Dog Lovers and Families of the Fallen

My thanks to Liisa Hyvarinen Temple for sharing this video and story. This week, the Department of Defense approved the adoption of a retiring bomb sniffing dog by the family of his handler, USMC PFC Colton Rusk, who was killed by a sniper this December in Afghanistan. Now, Rusk’s working dog will live with the Marine’s parents and brothers on 20 acres in Texas.
