Military Members Among Victims in Colorado Shooting

The Air Force Times is reporting that service members from Buckley Air Force Base, Colo., are among those injured in the early morning shooting Friday in Aurora, Colo. at a movie theater only five miles from the base.

Base spokeswoman Master Sgt. Jill LaVoie told the paper that it is not yet known if all the military victims were Air Force and the number of injured are still unknown.

“This tragic event has affected everybody here at Buckley Air Force Base and our local community friends and neighbors,” base commander Col. Daniel Dant said in a statement.

The media is reporting James Holmes, 24, is in custody in connection with to the early morning shooting Friday at a premier of “The Dark Knight Rises.”

  1. It is terrific buddies, terrific a death where a defence were not possible, where one have should not necessary a defence.
