Lest we forget, here’s a photo to remind us that U.S. Marines and their working companions are hard at work daily in Afghanistan as are all U.S. Armed Forces.
Currently, only 1 percent of Americans serve in the Armed Forces.
If you are part of the other 99 percent, here’s a chance for you to support those service members and their families.

I think this list is a wonderful resource and I included it on the Ways To Make A Difference page on my blog. Thank you for putting this together!
Thanks for spreading around the resource information.
What’s key with this list is the organizations have been vetted and meet a level of scrutiny. Unfortunately that’s needed now because there are people who have used “Veterans” and supposed “non-profit” status for allegedly personal gain.
a great list of resources.
Thanks for sharing this. I’m open to any tips on how to get this info out to more civilians who want to help but don’t know how or where to turn. Thanks too for reading the blog.
